What is Green Field Project??


What is green field project or stages of it let us know about it. 


Green field project is simple term it is a project that is built from scratch and lacks constraints of prior work. There is no existing infrastructure, it includes infrastructure, Industrial, manufacturing, and urban development projects built on greenfield land with no existing development. Projects like airport, metro, or road development project it can includes heavy industries project like waste water treatment plant, power plant still plant, manufacturing facilities, automobile industries, textile industries, real estate project, residential or commercial projects or institutional project it can said that any kind of project that is built on greenfield land with no prior development is called greenfield project.

In Greenfield project we do not need to demolish or remodel any project, project which are demolish or remodel or upgraded is call brown field projects so any redevelopment projects where there was existing development and which was properly no current operation in that project is call brown field projects. Where the only it can be high cleanup cost because of high contamination if there were hazardous substance in the sites and soil and water is contaminated so it can be high cleaning up cost. Stages of Green field projects

There are 5 stages of green field projects identification of sites, Assessment, Approvals, Design and Construction, Operational

Identification of sites

firstly, we must identify the sites environment is suitable the surrounding for the project

Assessment 

The stages involved in green field projects have carry environment impact assessment, details oof project report (DPR), funding of the sites it can be funded in states as sites or in partnership or if it is private project than investment must arranged

Approvals

 A lot of approval required in various agency like environment department, pollution control board, development authority, municipal co-operation, most of a lot government agency. 

Design and construction 

The project owner will outsource the design of the plant to urban planner or designer or and architecture and the construction will outsource to the contactor. 

Operational

Ones the project complete as all aspect than comes operational.
